The aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Bahrain agreed to launch a tourist charter flight between Almaty and Manama on June 28, QazMonitor reports citing the civil aviation committee.
Domestic SCAT Airlines will operate the route once a week on Wednesdays, utilizing Boeing 737 aircraft.
The opening of this international route is expected to contribute to further developing cultural, business, investment, and tourist relations between Kazakhstan and Bahrain.
Earlier, it was reported that Oman, another Persian Gulf country, will establish air links between Muscat and Almaty on July 1.
