Kazakhstan and France plan to promote mutual cultural events, including hosting exhibitions of Kazakh historical heritage at the Guimet Museum in Paris, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The Ministers of Culture of Kazakhstan and France, Aida Balayeva and Rima Abdul Malak discussed bilateral cooperation in culture and joint cultural projects.
The localization project for the French children's channel TiJi into Kazakh is complete. Additionally, an anthology featuring contemporary Kazakh poetry and prose has been translated into French.
Rima Abdul Malak noted that cooperation with Kazakhstan in the cultural and humanitarian sphere is of special importance for France.
Next year, a theater in Belfort will host a large number of Kazakh artists as part of events that will last several months. We are currently organizing an exhibition scheduled to be held at the Guimet Museum. There is great interest on the French side in promoting Kazakh culture here in France. I make sure that French people all over the country have access to the richness of your culture, not only those who live in or visit Paris.
The parties agreed to organize mutual visits of experts in museum art and restorers, implement joint film projects of international level, create children's cartoons and animated films, and produce animated series teaching the French language.
