The ministry of culture and sport presented a road map for the organization of Kazakhstan's national exhibition "Cultural Code of the Kazakh Steppe Civilization" at the Louvre Museum in Paris, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry’s press service.
Askhat Oralov, the minister of culture and sport, announced at the meeting with heads of regions and museums that the ministry plans to hold the exhibition in 2026 and has already outlined its concept.
“Chronologically, the exhibition will cover the period from the 4th millennium BC to the mid-19th century. It will feature authentic rarities from the collections of several [Kazakhstani] museums, and the National Museum will act as the exhibition’s organizer,” said Oralov.
The Louvre Museum is one of the world's premier art exhibition venues. Its own archives house more than 380,000 pivotal historical and artistic artefacts, ranging from paintings to archaeological finds.
