Thailand to Introduce Visa-Free Regime for Kazakh Tourists

Starting September 25 this year, Kazakh tourists will be able to stay in Thailand for 30 days

The government of Thailand plans to introduce a temporary visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan and China starting September 25 this year, QazMonitor reports citing The Reporters.

Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, announced that the government is prioritizing increasing income for the domestic tourism industry after the cabinet meeting on September 13

The minister also outlined the current plans for the visa-free regime, stating that citizens of Kazakhstan and China will be able to stay in Thailand for 30 days starting on September 25, 2023. The regime will be in effect until February 29, 2024.
