Fly Arystan will launch regular flights between Astana and Baku for the first time starting from June 2, QazMonitor reports.
The airline will operate the flights twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Currently, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) offers biweekly flights on the Astana–Baku and Almaty–Baku routes. Air Astana also flies between Almaty and Baku twice a week.
Other connections to Baku include the Aktau–Baku direction operated by Fly Arystan and Azerbaijan Airlines three times a week and the Aktobe–Baku direction by Qazaq Air twice a week.
The overall number of regular flights between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will reach 14 flights in June.
