Azerbaijan Airlines, better known as AZAL, has changed the launch dates for the Baku–Astana and Baku–Almaty routes, QazMonitor reports.
The carrier will start flights on the Baku–Astana route on March 10 (instead of March 16), and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Baku–Almaty direction will be available from March 11 (instead of March 17) with a frequency of two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Kazakhstan has extended the open sky regime for five years and is valid in 12 airports. The policy allows foreign airlines to conduct flights over the territory of Kazakhstan to their destinations.
