Students from Kazakhstan have successfully performed and won 1st place at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2023-2024 in China, QazMonitor reports citing the Ministry of Science and Education.
Competition: On May 23-26, the Chinese city of Shenzhen hosted Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2023-2024 with the participation of more than 170,000 students from 2,000 higher education institutions globally.
Students from Yessenov University and Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications won 1st place among 36 teams from all over the world in Computing discipline.
Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Suleyman Demirel University took 1st place among 37 teams in Cloud discipline.
Huawei ICT Competition is an international ICT education platform facilitating knowledge exchange and cultural interaction between participants from different countries.
Last year, teams from Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications, Kazakh-British Technical University, and Yessenov University claimed the Grand Prize in Computing Track discipline at the ICT’s Regional Finals for the Middle East and Central Asia in Bahrain.
