On February 15, Kazakhstan and Qatar signed an agreement to regulate the employment of foreign workers from Kazakhstan in the Arab country. This agreement offers Kazakh workers the opportunity for legal employment upon offers from Qatari employers, QazMonitor reports citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
This agreement serves to safeguard the labor and social rights of Kazakh foreign laborers currently working or intending to work in Qatar. It encompasses managerial and legal aspects crucial for establishing favorable employment conditions and ensuring the protection of workers' rights in Kazakhstan.
Additionally, a joint Kazakh-Qatari committee will be established to coordinate actions, attract skilled workers, and address labor disputes.
