On July 11, the Kazakh delegation signed several agreements with leading Russian companies in the automotive industry at the International Industrial Fair (INNOPROM) 2023 in Yekaterinburg, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry of industry and infrastructural development.
During the meetings, the parties discussed mutual investment attractiveness and reached agreements to undertake joint projects.
Kostanay-based Saryarka AvtoProm signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation with Bor Glassworks and the Cluster of Automotive Industry. The document aims to outline the production and supply of automotive components.
Additionally, Saryarka AvtoProm and the Cluster of Automotive Industry signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation with DSK Group. The memorandum focuses on organizing the production and supply of engine compartment insulation, interior sound insulation, interior carpet components, and car body stamping. The production will be based at the Saryarka AvtoProm assembly factory in Kostanay.
The Kazakh side also secured agreements for the production and supply of plastic fuel tanks, as well as investment in the construction of a plant for the production of rebar.
