Following the end of the French Open in Paris, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has updated the singles and doubles rankings, QazMonitor reports citing the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
In the updated rankings, Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina has moved one rank up, marking a career-high top 3 spot just behind Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka.
Yulia Putintseva, another Kazakh player, has climbed seven spots to the 51st position, while Kazakhstan's top doubles player, Anna Danilina, has moved up one position to 24th place. Zhibek Kulambayeva currently holds the 199th position.
The men's world rankings have also been updated on the ATP website.
Kazakhstan's men's team leader, Alexander Bublik, has returned to the top 50 and now ranks 47th. Timofey Skatov has improved his position by 12 points, moving to 135th place, while Mikhail Kukushkin is now ranked 252nd. Beibit Zhukayev has made a significant leap, climbing 69 positions to reach the 256th spot in the world rankings.
