Astana’s international airport is planning to build a second runway, terminals, and apron, QazMonitor reports citing the airport's press service.
The project master plan contains phased planning of land use, construction, parameters, and technological schemes of the new infrastructural objects, which will also include hangars, boxes, and other equipment.
The airport expansion will continue until 2050.
