Painting of the Steppe: National Museum Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The exhibition in Astana features 200 paintings alongside traditional crafts

On April 5, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated its 10th anniversary with the grand opening of the exhibition "Painting of the Steppe: Symbols, Colors, Images." This exhibition in Astana showcased the finest artworks collected over the past decade, featuring renowned artists such as A.Kasteev, A.Ismailov, U.Tansykbaev, and many others, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Museum.

Beyond the canvas: Comprising 200 paintings alongside traditional jewelry, weaving, crafts, and musical instruments, the exhibition offered a rich tapestry of Kazakh culture. Many of these works were displayed for the first time, having undergone meticulous restoration.
