On October 11, during the working trip to Schwandorf, Germany, a Kazakh delegation of agricultural machinery manufacturers visited a plant of HORSCH — a manufacturer of trailed and mounted machinery, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of Industry and Construction.
The Kazakh delegation included industry representatives from Vostokmashzavod, Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation, Agromashholding KZ, and KamlitKZ. The delegation was headed by Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Ilyas Ospanov.
"During the visit, the delegation saw the production process of agricultural machinery assembly and further development strategy of HORSCH. The Vice-Minister proposed to create joint production of parts for agricultural machinery and their localization in Kazakhstan. During the meeting a strategic session was held on localization in Kazakhstan, per the Head of State’s instruction to steadily increase the localization level," reported the Ministry.
HORSCH is one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the world.
