Several Iranian Enterprises Consider Launching Production in Kazakhstan

The Kazakh delegation led by Kurmangali Amankosov, the foreign representative of the national company Kazakh Invest in the Persian Gulf states, held negotiations with major Iranian companies in Tehran and Amol, QazMonitor reports citing the company’s press service.

During their visit to Amol, Amankosov met with the management of Kalleh Dairy, one of the largest dairy factories in the Middle East, to explore the company's capabilities. The enterprise processes over 2,500 tons of milk per day and produces more than 2,700 tons of dairy products daily.

In Tehran, the Kazakh delegation met with Gholam-Ali Soleimani, the CEO of Solico Group. He said that the company explores the possibility of building a milk processing plant in the Almaty region with plans to produce various types of cheeses, yogurts, beverages from whey, ice cream, and sports supplements.

During the meeting with Amir Ahmad Andabil, the marketing and export manager at Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company, the Kazakh side presented the investment potential of our country and informed about the state support measures for investors. In response, Andabil expressed Iran's interest in establishing large-scale agricultural machinery production in the Mangystau and North Kazakhstan regions.

Alireza Saber, the CEO of Iranian Babak Copper Company, expressed interest in constructing a factory to produce Grade A LME cathode copper in Kazakhstan and plans to visit the country for further project assessment.

Furthermore, the Kazakh delegation, together with the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran, Askhat Orazbay, met with the chair of the board of the National Development Fund of Iran, Mehdi Ghazanfari. The Iranian fund expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan, focusing on agriculture, mining, energy, and IT.
