On June 20, the Samruk-Kazyna Invest development fund and the German company AMK Global signed an agreement on the construction of a waste recycling plant in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing the fund’s Telegram channel.

"The memorandum was signed today in Astana after the Kazakh-German Business Forum. Samruk-Kazyna Invest will participate in the joint project from the Kazakh side, while AMK Global GmbH, a gas chemical company from Germany, will be involved," states the fund.

The project aims to establish waste processing facilities in Kazakhstan, along with the cleaning of harmful flue gases, neutralization of carbon dioxide, and the production of carbon fibers.
