Latest updates

Given the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, from April 11, 2022, the committee decided to lift restrictions on crossing the land border with the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan for the citizens of Kazakhstan, stateless persons, and foreigners of Kazakhstan’s state border.

All restrictions on crossing the state border by air are also removed. The requirement of obligatory presentation of a negative PCR test result or document/passport on passing the full course of vaccination, re-vaccination against the coronavirus for Kazakhs and foreigners with residence permit in Kazakhstan, and foreign citizens with accepted vaccination passports remains.

Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the issue of opening the state borders is under constant monitoring of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
