SCAT Airlines will recommence flights along the Astana–Batumi route starting June 8, QazMonitor reports citing the Civil Aviation Committee’s press service.
The airline plans to operate the flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays, utilizing Boeing 737 aircraft.
The frequency of flights is expected to be additionally increased to three times a week beginning in July this year. The regular flights between the countries will promote the ongoing development of tourism, cultural exchange, and business partnership between Kazakhstan and Georgia.
Earlier, Italian airlines Neos revealed plans to increase the number of flights on the Almaty-Milan route and launch new Astana–Rome, and Astana–Milan flights.
