The Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo launched direct regular flights between Almaty and Delhi on September 24, QazMonitor reports citing the Civil Aviation Committee.
The airline plans to operate this route with a frequency of three flights per week, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, utilizing A-320 and A-321 aircraft.
On the inaugural flight between the two destinations, the average payload capacity amounted to 69%. It is expected that the introduction of more flights between Kazakhstan and India will contribute to the further development of bilateral cooperation.
