Starting on August 15, the Indian low-cost airline IndiGo plans to launch flights to Kazakhstan on the route Delhi-Almaty, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee. The flights will operate three times a week using A-320 and A-321 aircrafts.

IndiGo Airlines is India's largest low-cost carrier. The entry of the low-cost carrier into Kazakhstan's international transportation market will positively affect the affordability of air tickets and increase competition. The increase in flights between Kazakhstan and India will promote the further development of trade-economic, business, investment, tourist and cultural cooperation between the countries.

IndiGo is the largest Indian low-cost air carrier. The airlines offer 104 destinations, including 78 domestic and 26 international ones (Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Singapore, Spain, France, Malaysia, Bahrain, Hungary, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Denmark, Hong Kong, Nepal, Portugal, and others.).
