During the visit of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the People's Republic of China, the head of state announced several agreements signed including one on the mutual visa-free travel for citizens of the two countries, QazMonitor reports citing the press-service Akorda.
"An agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual visa requirements exemption," the press service reported.
The citizens of Kazakhstan visiting China for tourism, medical treatment, transit, and business meetings will be able to stay in the country visa-free for 30 days. The same right will be granted to the residents of China traveling to Kazakhstan.
