Pana Asia will build an international-standard resort on the Samar coast of the Bukhtarma Reservoir, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of East Kazakhstan Akimat.
“We have signed a memorandum of cooperation with the renowned hospitality company Pana Asia,” said Serik Zhenisuly, Akim of the Samar District.
“Following the instruction of the Head of State, we continue our efforts to develop tourism. Pana Asia is the first domestic management company building an ecosystem around the Pana Hotels boutique brand. The company already operates hotels in Almaty, Shymkent, and Moscow — and now Sarybel will join this list.”
The regional akimat’s press service noted that the hotel’s construction will mark an important step in boosting the region’s tourism and investment appeal. Project design and cost documentation are also being developed for the creation of a promenade area along the reservoir.
To further support investment activity, the district akimat has established a Center for Tourism and Investment. The new center will serve as a key platform for advancing projects in tourism, agriculture, and industry.
“We invite investors to our district. Everyone ready to contribute to the region’s development will receive full support and assistance in implementing their projects,” Zhenisuly added.
