Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov and Vice President of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan discussed the issues of deepening economic and social and cultural cooperation between the two countries, QazMonitor reports citing the prime minister’s press service.

The issue of granting Kazakh citizens visa-free entry to Vietnam was also raised by the prime minister during the meeting, regarding which he pointed out that the implementation of such a regime will have a positive impact on the development of trade and tourism between the countries.
In addition, he stressed that Kazakhstan has an interest in adopting Vietnamese technologies of rice cultivation and the generally expanding cooperation in agriculture.
For her part, Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that Vietnam values cooperation with Kazakhstan and seeks ways to further strengthen the dialogue and partnership between them.
"Kazakhstan occupies an important geographical position in connecting major world markets. We are ready to consider concrete proposals for joint work in all mutually beneficial directions," summarized Vo.
