Belgium’s Norditube Technologies and Luxembourg’s Faymonville are considering opportunities for their business development in markets of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, QazMonitor reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Margulan Baimukhan visited production lines and held talks with the heads of the two companies.

During the meeting, Fabrice Pirot, Production Director of Norditube Technologies, one of the world’s leading suppliers of trenchless pipe repair technology, stressed the intention of the company to establish long-term cooperation with Kazakh partners.

Implementing the Belgian company’s high-tech solutions would reduce the utility restoration cost by more than half. Norditube Technologies was noted to have extensive experience in the successful restoration of pipeline networks for various modifications and purposes around the world.

Meanwhile, Faymonville, a leading manufacturer of low-frame trailers for large loads, offered to service its equipment to support customers in the region.

In Luxembourg, Ambassador Baimukhan also met with Rafal Rybatsky, Managing Director of the European Investment Bank.

Currently, the bank is examining specific projects in Kazakhstan, which can have a positive impact on solving current problems of economic development, and environmental issues, as well as introducing energy-saving technologies.

An agreement has been reached to organize another working visit of the bank's delegation to Kazakhstan.
