Kazakhstan and Andorra signed an Agreement on the mutual exemption from visa requirements, marking the first intergovernmental agreement signed between the two countries, Qazmonitor reports citing Khabar 24.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra Maria Ubach i Font has arrived for her first official visit to Kazakhstan, where negotiations were held in Nur-Sultan between her and Deputy Prime Minister and Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
The two parties affirmed the steady nature of their bilateral cooperation, supporting each other on international platforms of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and OSCE PA, and expressed interests in the mutual development of the tourism sector.
In her upcoming schedule, Minister Ubach will be received by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov and meet with the representative of the presidential administration, the leadership of the Senate and Majilis, and visit the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC).
