On July 24, the KTF CSKA tennis center courts in Almaty hosted the sixth tournament of the Tennis League TS 2024 season — TS CUP 6. This tournament was a significant event before the expected finals on 11 September. The participants put in their best efforts, demonstrating high sporting skills and commitment in TS CUP 6.

The tournament was organized by TLTS League headed by the Tournament’s Director Abylay Ongarbayev, along with Artem Ascheulov, Chief Referee, who kicked off the event with welcoming speeches. As always, the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan marked the official start of the competition, resonating through the courts.

During the tournament, participants demonstrated the peak of their sporting form with engaging matches and high skill levels.

A special pleasant bonus for all participants was tickets to concerts of famous artists provided by partner and League member Roman Kuznetsov. The event also featured a traditional lottery for the participants, where various prizes from the League partners were raffled off.

One of the tournament’s highlights was the drawing of a unique tennis ball signed by famous world tennis star Andy Murray. This prize became a symbol of the competition and added significant value and memorability to the tournament.

Lev Kim, a multiple TLTS participant and TS CUP 6 Grand Masters winner, shared his impressions after the tournament.

Reaching the final and winning it brought me only positive emotions. I hope that the League will expand its boundaries to attract more tennis enthusiasts, including mixed [doubles]. It would be great if tournaments were held not only in Almaty, but also in other cities of Kazakhstan, contributing to the development of tennis in the country.
