President Tokayev Receives Credentials from Ambassadors of Six States

The ceremony was held at the Akorda residence in Astana

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received credentials from ambassadors of six states, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of Akorda.

During the ceremony at the Akorda residence in Astana, credentials were presented by the following diplomats:

  • Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ibtissam Rakha Ahmed Hassan

  • Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Vladimir Jovičić

  • Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Thomas Reisen

  • Ambassador of Australia John William Gearing

  • Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia Hector Isidro Arenas Neira

  • Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Jaafari

Congratulating the diplomats on the official start of their mission, the Head of State drew attention to Kazakhstan's peaceful and constructive foreign policy.

“We want to work in close cooperation and maintain good relations with all countries, and first of all, with our closest neighbors. I believe that great success awaits us on this path, and we will do our best to strengthen cooperation in various areas, including economic cooperation, investment and political dialog. You can be assured that Kazakhstan will be your reliable partner in the international arena,"

said the President.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the ambassadors success, emphasizing that they will be provided with full support from the Government of Kazakhstan during their service. He also conveyed best wishes and greetings to the heads of state.
