On March 12, Vice-Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan Olzhas Saparbekovt participated in a roundtable during his visit to Erfurt, Germany. Representatives of the Kazakh business community also joined the meetings, which resulted in the signing of four agreements, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Ministry.
Joint projects: At the roundtable dedicated to cooperation in investment projects between Kazakhstan and the federal state of Thuringia, the Vice-Minister noted the high investment activity of Germany in key industries. The countries have already implemented 22 joint projects, including partnerships with Linde Group and Knauf, and 22 more investment projects are currently underway.
Agreements: The parties signed a collaborative partnership agreement and four agreements covering energy efficiency, vocational training, and road infrastructure in the housing and utilities sector. The parties also agreed to establish a working group to continue cooperation between the federal land of Thuringia and Kazakhstan.
