Elena Rybakina Clinches Double Victory Against World No. 1 Iga Swiatek

Kazakhstan's top-ranked tennis player and World No. 4, Elena Rybakina, played her debut match at the World Tennis League (WTL) tournament in Abu Dhabi, UAE, QazMonitor reports.

Representing Team Falcons, Rybakina, alongside partner Sorana Cirstea, secured a 6:4 victory in the women's doubles match against Karolina Garcia and World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, representing Team Hawks.

In a singles match against Swiatek, Rybakina, despite a setback in the first set at 4:6, emerged victorious and earned her team the win after taking down Iga Swiatek in the Super Shootout tiebreak 10-8. In the team standings, Team Falcons outplayed Team Hawks with a score of 25:24.

Elena Rybakina is participating in the tournament as part of the "Falcons" team alongside Sorana Cirstea, Sumit Nagal, and Taylor Fritz.
