Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov and the Chair of the Israel-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Michael Roee, discussed the exchange of experiences in the development of the agro-industrial complex and water resources management, QazMonitor reports citing primeminister.kz.
The parties discussed the issues related to irrigation efficiency, water conservation, the implementation of modern drip irrigation systems, advancement of agricultural science, as well as the adoption of new approaches in livestock farming, milk production, and poultry farming.
"We are open to studying Israeli technologies and are prepared to leverage them to propel the growth of [our] agro-industrial complex. The topics of irrigation and water conservation are also of high relevance. We aim to enhance the efficiency of state investments and achieve tangible outcomes," said Smailov.
In turn, Roee pointed out that Kazakhstan possesses the potential to meet the domestic market's needs and make a substantial contribution to global food security. Furthermore, he offered comprehensive assistance in implementing Israeli agrotechnology and water management methods.
