The Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and China's General Administration of Customs discussed a potential increase in domestic exports of rapeseed, peas, and lentils, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry’s press service.
Baurzhan Abyzbayev, the acting chair of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision, stressed that the Kazakh side is ready to audit domestic enterprises' veterinary service and inspection system. These measures aim to enable domestic companies to be included in the register of exporters to China.
The Committee also addressed the issues of harmonization of bilateral veterinary certificates for exporting fish products and the lifting of temporary restrictions on livestock products.
Berik Manassov, the chair of the State Inspection Committee, discussed with the Chinese party agricultural exports and the process of obtaining risk assessment analysis for domestic exporters' oat flakes, cereals, and beet pulp.
