The national women’s wrestling team concluded the 2023 Poland Open in Warsaw with two silver and three bronze medals, QazMonitor reports citing the National Olympic Committee.
Throughout the tournament, domestic athletes showed a solid performance, scoring 62 points across various weight categories and securing the second spot in the team standings, trailing Poland with 89 points and leading ahead of Canada with 60 points.
The following athletes received medals:
Irina Kazyulina (under 65 kg) – silver medal
Anastassiya Panassovich (under 72 kg) – silver medal
Ainur Ashimova (under 55 kg) – bronze medal
Diana Kayumova (under 59 kg) – bronze medal
Guldana Bekesh (under 59 kg) – bronze medal
