Kazakhstan's Danilina Reaches Finals at Hamburg European Open

Kazakh tennis player Anna Danilina, paired with Russia’s Alexandra Panova, advanced to the finals of the Hamburg European Open, after defeating the Italian duo of Angelica Moratelli and Camilla Rosatello with a score of 3:6, 7:6, 10:3, QazMonitor reports citing the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.

The champions of the WTA 250 tournament in women's doubles will be decided in the match against Czech Miriam Kolodziejova and American Angela Kulikova on July 29.

Anna Danilina is currently ranked 25th in the WTA world doubles rankings and 1st in Kazakhstan. This is her first finals at a WTA 250 tournament this year. In her career, Danilina has previously won three titles at WTA doubles events.

In other results for Kazakh tennis players, Alexander Nedovesov, paired with Ecuador's Gonzalo Escobar, lost to the Croatian-Slovenian pair of Nino Serdarusic and Blaz Rola with a score of 2:6, 6:3, 8:10 in the quarter-finals of the ATP 250 Croatia Open in Umag.
