The ministry of industry and infrastructural development discussed the issues of additional permit exchange for international transportation and the possibility of facilitating long-term visas for Kazakh drivers with the embassies of European countries, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry's press service.
Almaz Idyrysov, the vice minister of industry and infrastructural development, held a meeting with representatives from the embassies of Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to further develop economic relations, including increasing goods turnover and cargo transportation volumes by automobile transport. Additionally, the embassies assured that they would submit the proposal of the Kazakh side regarding permit exchange and visa issuance to the relevant authorized state agencies in their respective countries.
