Kazakh ministry of energy issued a decree banning the export of certain oil products to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) until December 31, 2024, QazMonitor reports citing legal information system Adilet.

The order will come into force ten calendar days after its official publication. The appendix to the order lists oil products banned for export – light distillates, jet and diesel fuel, gas oil, toluene, xylene, and bitumen.

Earlier, the Kazakh government raised nationwide marginal prices for gasoline and diesel in order to reduce the price disparity between our country and neighboring states.
