QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 included eight universities from Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports.
The list’s 13th edition evaluated more than 1,500 educational institutions in 54 different subjects. Kazakhstan doubled the country’s academic presence in top 100 by Subject list from three to seven subjects in the rankings. Overall, Kazakhstan’s universities increased the number of educational programs in the subject rankings from 31 last year to 40 programs in 2023.
The following universities entered the QS World University Rankings by Subject:
– L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (88th in Modern Languages, 94th in Linguistics, 51-100 Hospitality and Leisure Management)
– Satbayev University (51-100th in Petroleum Engineering)
– Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (76th in Education and Learning, 95th in English Language and Literature)
– Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (76th in Modern languages)
– Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages
– Suleyman Demirel University
– Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University
– Kazakh National Agrarian Research University
