Mexico plans to open an embassy in Astana this year, QazMonitor reports.
Aibek Smadiyarov, the spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, attended a press briefing where he said the Mexican foreign ministry has announced that it will open five new embassies in 2023. One of them will be in Kazakhstan.
Our country welcomes the Mexican government’s initiative and is ready to provide the necessary assistance in opening an embassy in Astana, the spokesperson said.
