This weekend will offer diverse experiences across the board. Astana is hosting the Teachers’ Summit, a premier educational event bringing together forward-thinking pioneers from around the world. The capital will also premiere a fantasy ballet production inspired by Turkic mythology. In Almaty, the K-Beauty Global Forum is set to take place, featuring beauty experts from Korea, who will share their secrets to success in the ever-demanding cosmetics industry.

Musical adventure concert by Forte Trio

This Friday offers a delightful journey into the brilliance of Czech Romantic music. Featuring the names among the composers of the 19th century, the evening will be accompanied by Bedrich Smetana’s Trio in G minor and Antonin Dvorak’s Dumky trio. While the former adheres to the Baroque tradition of using minor keys to convey heartache, Dumky are often praised for their innovative approach, offering a glimpse into one's self-reflection.

Teachers' Summit

This weekend will see the door to knowledge and education swing wide open, as the global pioneers of progress convene in Astana. Get ready for lectures programming, Gen-Z, and the art of designing engaging lectures for teenagers who are always on the move. These talks will be presented by champions of pedagogy, such as Keishia Thorpe, Evans Odei, Akash Patel, and others.

The House of Artists exhibition by Inna Vasilieva, Medat, and Erken Kagarov

The Kasteyev Museum welcomes the art of three contemporary Uzbek artists, each with a unique artistic philosophy. The works of Inna Vasilieva depict still-life scenes that hold deep symbolic subtext, while her husband, Medat Kagarov, explores pictorial poetics through the interplay of colors and expressive plasticity. Their son, Erken, as an urban designer, specializes in various digital graphics and sculpture techniques.
