How Much Will Turkiye Invest in Kazakh Agricultural Industry?

Seven months of this year saw a twofold increase in exports and imports between the two countries

Turkish companies are planning to invest $200 million in the agricultural industry of Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.

Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeev stated that the bilateral relations between the two countries reached a new level. “The exports and imports rose twofold during the first seven months of this year. Kazakh exports doubled, whereas imports from Turkiye were up by 60%,” said Karashukeev.

He continued that Turkiye is planning to implement several significant projects in Kazakhstan.

“Turkish investors intend to invest in our agricultural industry. Investments over $200 million worth is expected. Among the projects are leather processing and cultivating garden crops,” concluded the minister.
