French Hotel Operator Accor to Enter Kazakh Market

The company signed a cooperation agreement with ALAZAR GROUP

French hotel group Accor and ALAZAR GROUP LLP recently formalized their collaboration by signing a cooperation agreement under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Ministry.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Yermek Marzhikpayev, Vice-Minister of National Economy Timur Zhaksylykov, Acting Chairman of the Tourism Committee Nurtas Karipbayev, the General Manager of Accor New East Europe Alexis Delaroff, and representative of Alazar Group LLP and Orient Finance Group LLP Ruslan Shayekin.

Minister Marzhikpayev expressed optimism about the collaboration, acknowledging the substantial contribution Accor is set to make to the development of Kazakhstan's tourism sector.

"The implementation of projects by the leading global hotel group Accor, which has extensive experience in the international hospitality ecosystem, will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's tourism sector. We highly value the exchange of experience with such an international company and hope that this collaboration will yield fruitful results," noted the Minister.

Accor is a leading global hotel group that operates 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and bars, along with wellness centers and co-working spaces in more than 110 countries. The group possesses one of the most diverse and fully integrated ecosystems in the hospitality industry.
