Food Empire May Launch MacCoffee Production in Almaty Region

The company is researching the region's infrastructure, benefits and logistics potential

Food and beverage company Food Empire Holdings is considering the construction of a 3-in-1 instant coffee plant in Almaty region, QazMonitor reports citing the Regional Development Center.

Chief Executive Officer of Food Empire Wang Chu Tang and Deputy Akim of Almaty region Nurzhan Kudaibergenov discussed the prospects of the idea.

Currently, Food Empire is studying the infrastructure, advantages, and logistical potential of the region.

"We are open to attracting new investment in industrial and production projects. Our task is to create a favorable climate for our prospective partners, both for the implementation of local and large global business projects," Samat Akhilbekov, akimat advisor, noted during a meeting between representatives of the Kazakh Embassy in Singapore and Food Empire CEO.

Food Empire Holdings is listed on the main floor of the Singapore Stock Exchange, and is a global leader in the production and sale of instant drinks, frozen semi-finished products, confectionery, and snacks.

One of the most popular products of the company is MacCoffee instant coffee. The holding has 18 representative offices worldwide and exports its products to more than 60 countries.
