Japan has lifted all visa restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic as of October 11, QazMonitor reports citing the Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan.

Starting today, the country resumes the issuance of all types of visas. The cap on daily arrivals has also been lifted.

Kazakh citizens are still required to obtain a visa at the Embassy of Japan, regardless of the length of stay and purpose of travel. The procedure for processing and issuance of Japanese entry visas to CIS citizens is free of charge.
