The Civial Aviation Committee announced their plan to launch biweekly flights from Shymkent to Ankara for the fall and winter period, QazMonitor reports citing Otyrar.kz.
The opening of the new route was done in response to an official request. The Committee added that the flights will be conducted by the domestic airline Fly Arystan on the Airbus A-320.
According to government officials, they are also considering the possibility of opening direct flights to Pakistan via the Shymkent-Karachi route with a frequency of two flights a week.
