Starting from August 4, Kazakhstan and Russia will establish new flight routes with a frequency of one flight per week on Thursdays, Qazmonitor reports.
The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan jointly with the aviation authorities of the Russian Federation worked out the issue of opening new routes from Almaty and Nur-Sultan to Ufa.
The Russian airline "Red Wings" will perform the flights.
The launch of new flights between Kazakhstan and Russia was planned as part of the work on the resumption and opening of international communication as well as further development of trade and economic, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
