Tengri Travel writes Air Astana will increase the frequency of flights from Almaty to London to three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - starting July 5. Previously, flights to the UK were operated twice a week: on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The flights to London and back are carried out from Almaty with a stopover in Aktau since May 12. Similar flights were operated via Nur-Sultan before.
Starting June 23, passengers arriving from and departing to London will be served in Terminal 4 of Heathrow International Airport (previously - in Terminal 2).
Currently, Kazakhstan operates international flights to 26 countries via 98 routes with a total of 435 flights per week. Airlines recently resumed flights to Greece, Italy and Montenegro.
The 26 countries include Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, South Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Armenia, Maldives, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Qatar, UK, Mongolia, Iran, Italy, Greece and Montenegro.
