China Southern Airlines will now operate the Almaty–Beijing route daily, QazMonitor reports citing the Civil Aviation Committee.
Schedule: The airline will increase the number of flights on the Almaty–Beijing route from three a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) to a daily schedule. The route will utilize Airbus A320 aircraft.
Beijing to Almaty flight: The starting price for a one-way ticket on the April 30 flight is CN¥4707 or ₸288,027 ($649.78). The flight duration is 5 hours and 40 minutes, departing at 6:30 p.m. from Beijing Daxing International and arriving at 9:10 p.m. at Almaty International Airport. All times are local – Beijing is UTC+8, while Almaty is UTC+5.
Almaty International Airport is located 20 km northeast of the city center. A taxi ride to downtown will take around 30 to 40 minutes.
Almaty to Beijing flight: The starting price for a one-way ticket on the April 30 flight is ₸238,150 or CN¥3892 ($537.26). The flight duration is 4 hours and 50 minutes, departing at 10:45 p.m. from Almaty International Airport and arriving at 6:30 p.m. at Beijing Daxing International Airport. All times are local.
Beijing Daxing International Airport is located 70 km south of the city. A bus or taxi ride to Beijing will take around 90 minutes.
