On March 25, in Astana, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos signed a memorandum of understanding on air traffic issues between the two countries, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the MFA.
Flights: Drafted by the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Cyprus, the memorandum provides rights to operate up to seven weekly flights by each party's designated carriers.
Destinations: Under the memorandum, Kazakh airline companies have the right to perform flights to Larnaca and Paphos, and Cypriot airlines to Astana and Almaty.
The MoU aims to strengthen economic, business and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
