Domestic Airline to Resume Daily Flights on Astana–Zhezkazgan Route

Qazaq Air airline plans to resume flights on the Astana–Zhezkazgan route beginning January 1 next year, QazMonitor reports citing the airline’s press service.

The flights will operate daily, utilizing the De-Havilland Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. The cost of one-way tickets starts from ₸18,000.

The schedule will be as follows:

• IQ 389 Astana 09:55 – Zhezkazgan 11:00

• IQ 390 Zhezkazgan 11:35 – Astana 12:45

Earlier, the airline launched subsidized flights twice a week on a new route between Shymkent and Zhezkazgan on October 11. The fixed one-way ticket price is ₸15,000, and children under 14 years old will receive a 50% discount.
