Qazaq Air Launches Subsidized Flights from Shymkent to Zhezkazgan

The flights will be operated twice a week

Beginning on October 11, 2023, Qazaq Air is set to launch subsidized flights on a new route between Shymkent and Zhezkazgan. The airline will utilize Canadian-made De-Havilland Dash 8-Q400 aircraft for these routes, QazMonitor reports citing the airline's press service.

The first flights are scheduled for October 11, and tickets are available for purchase. The flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, with the following schedule:

Flight IQ 545: Shymkent 11:40 AM - Zhezkazgan 1:10 PM

Flight IQ 546: Zhezkazgan 1:40 PM - Shymkent 3:10 PM

The fixed one-way ticket price is 15,000 tenge, and children under 14 years old will receive a 50% discount. The hand luggage allowance is 5 kg, while checked baggage allowance is 20 kg. Date changes and ticket refunds will be allowed without any penalties.
