Great news for all Kazakh tourists planning to spend their holiday in France, as we are the only Central Asian country on the official COVID "green" list as of March 3.

Travelers on the "green" list who are not fully vaccinated must still have a negative PCR test before departure. However, retesting or being in quarantine upon arrival is not required. For travelers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations, no more tests is required on departure. Proof of a complete vaccination schedule becomes sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin, as was the case before the distribution of the Omicron variant.

The French authorities also put Canada, India and South Africa on the green list. The list currently includes EU member states as well as Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican. Recently Angola, Argentina, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Bolivia, Botswana, Cambodia, Canada, Cape Verde, Chad, Colombia, Comoros, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba and others have joined the list.

Travelers from Orange List countries who are not fully vaccinated must still have a good reason to enter France and test negative before departure and do a COVID-19 test upon arrival. Children under 12 years of age may enter France without restriction. No country is in the "red zone" so far, but the list will be updated if the French government decides to utilize the "emergency brake".
