Kazakhstan plans to introduce a visa-free regime for citizens of Albania, QazMonitor reports citing Tengri Travel.

Yermek Marzhikpayev, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, noted that Albania had already introduced a unilateral visa-free regime for Kazakh citizens some time ago.

"The issue of a visa-free regime for citizens of Albania will be decided today. It is a very interesting country with great tourist potential. I believe it would be the right decision for our country to introduce a visa-free regime, given the exciting prospects in this direction. In recent years, 211 Albanians have traveled to Kazakhstan, while unfortunately, only three of our tourists have visited Albania. I consider this issue to be of great significance for us, and we must elevate this work to a new level of quality," said Marzhikpayev.
